OUR HISTORY
Bonchem (a division of Synthachem Technical Services (Pty) Ltd) has provided products and services to all industry sectors for the last 40 years.
Although the emphasis is on developing specific chemical treatment programmes, the total approach includes application technology, monitoring, and plant personnel training at all levels. As a result, the application of Bonchem technology in the industry is rapidly increasing, and the provision of in-depth service ensures continued growth.
Bonchem covers all industrial sectors that require deposit-fouling-corrosion control relating to adverse water quality and aggressive vapours. In addition, the Bonchem treatment programme includes solid/liquid separation. To ensure reliable dosing of inhibitors and chemical reagents, Bonchem provides and maintains custom-built dosing systems.
We have practical and academic experience in solving process problems. Furthermore, to stay at the forefront of technological progress and development, Bonchem has close cooperating agreements with international chemical speciality companies. Locally, we maintain close contact with our technology partners to ensure high standards of technological development at all times.

As industrial water treatment chemicals supplier, Bonchem will supply world-class, proven technology as part of our user-friendly treatment packages to ensure customer satisfaction during operation and upon inspection of treated equipment. In addition, our service engineers will manage each application to ensure cost-effective technical results.
Our STRATEGY
Bonchem has extensive experience and resources to ensure that all our applications are operated with minimum interference for our customers’ personnel and their daily care tasks. We believe the interest in water treatment does not necessarily lie with these personnel.
As such, we strive to relieve them from this task and allow them to concentrate on their production tasks. We will, however, supply training, information sessions, and packages to all persons involved. Bonchem collaborates with its customers and follows an open-door policy where communication is the most critical aspect.
LOGISTICS
Bonchem has its own factory facility in Edenvale, where all our products are manufactured, quality controlled, packed, and stored. Furthermore, we have additional storage facilities with our transport fleet to ensure timely deliveries.
RESOURCES
Bonchem has its own laboratory where research and development work is an integral part of the daily routine.

TRAINING
We offer extensive indoor training programmes and outdoor training seminars to staff members and customers to ensure everybody is up to standard with the programmes and technological development Bonchem incorporates into their treatments.
